We are introducing a case of upcycling where a book cover was made using surplus fabric that was being used.
The fabric that was destined to be discarded has been upcycled into something of new value in collaboration with Seishoku Co., Ltd. (NUNOUS) in Okayama. By layering multiple pieces of fabric and resin sheets and fusing them together, we create a mass of fabric (stone) that can be cut and sewn into everyday items in your preferred thickness. The texture of the material varies depending on the cut, making each piece unique.
